Smart Grid in Lithuania: Benefits to the Business, the Public and the State

Today the Smart grid developed to ensure reliability, safety and efficiency of the use of electrical power is used in a number of areas, including efficiency enhancement of heat, gas and water consumption as well as implementation of Smart House and Smart City concepts.

In Lithuania where the EU’s average indicator of inefficient power consumption is significantly exceeded and the rise of energy and heat prices drives people into despair, Smart Grid can become a kind of a lifebuoy and open up new business prospects.
